About Madison County Fair

The Madison County Fair is London, Ohio’s showcase of local entertainment, exhibits and competition. Each July we present the best the county has to offer at the historic fairgrounds, a 40-plus acre complex featuring modern and historic buildings. The very first fair of the Madison County Agricultural Society took place in 1853 – organized by a group of community leaders who wanted to focus attention on the fine livestock and products of the area.

Today we share the same desire allowing county 4-H and FFA members to show their completed projects and compete for prizes throughout fair week. On Saturday market livestock projects are sold at auction. Community businesses also display wares throughout the fair and show their support for the youth of Madison County. Entertainment is plentiful from the midway to the grandstand and in the arenas.
